Who Am I

Who Am I

I was raised by a single, hard-working mother, and I am eternally grateful to her. She raised me to be the woman I am proud to be today. Who am I? I am a woman who has the man of her dreams. I am a woman who is a mother to a perfect little boy. (Yes, I am completely biased.) And I am a woman fortunate enough to be a stay-at-home-mother.

I have big dreams for my family. These dreams include Mr. H (my dream guy) and C (my perfect little boy) being able to do what we want when we want and where we want. I wish for my little boy to experience the world. I want him to understand that hard work does pay off. And I want him to know the things you want are worth working for.

My experience with cooking, housekeeping, crafting, and finances are very limited. Lucky for me, I live in this great day with access to the internet where I can learn anything I want. I try my best to make food that is edible and keep a moderately clean house. (Hey, I have a 2 year old, no such thing as perfection here!) I’m not naturally crafty but I want to be able to make a few things for myself. And I want to find ways to put money in our pockets without having to keep 9-5 jobs that hold you prisoner to a desk.

I originally started this blog with an unclear intention. Recently, I have done a lot of work researching and reading different things about blogging. I have found a new purpose and goals and dreams that I think are 100% in my reach. It is my pleasure to share recipes and crafts that I’ve tried. I want to share housekeeping secrets and general information about mom-related topics. And I want to share those important money-saving, money-making tips that are pushing me towards the goal of financial independence I have for my family.

Join me on my journey. Share in the sweat, tears, joy, laughter, and family fun.
