Last month, I challenged myself to a new picture every day. Some days I managed more than one and other days I had pictures thanks to the kiddo. I didn’t have the chance to post every single day like I wanted, but I was able to keep up with the challenge. This month, I am going in a different direction for a challenge for myself. The challenge is my March Challenge: MyFitnessPal Logs.
I have failed in my traction to do better with my diet and weight loss. It is my goal this month to track every single thing I eat and to track my exercise as best I can. The challenge starts today, March 2. If you’re interested in doing this with me, hook up with me on MyFitnessPal.
This is my promise to myself to be accountable, at least to myself. I am going to track everything I eat, no matter how gluttonous it may appear. Seeing everything written down and posted to the public is the only way I can get my mind to force the changes. It’s not easy to change dietary problems. But once you can see the problem, it gets easier to fix. (Or at least it does for me.)
As a side challenge, I am also giving up chocolate and candy for the duration of this challenge. I have been too slack with letting myself eat sweets. Most of my blame has been misplaced on the Dollar Tree for being so close and having some good treats for cheap.
I did well for a while with not eating too many treats, but I’ve let myself go this past month. It’s time to get back on track and it happens to fit perfectly with my current challenge. But it also still lets me have cake on my birthday in a couple months (so long as it’s not a chocolate cake, which is my favorite.)
